Cooled pride, roused ardour, 2018
BUS Projects, Collingwood

'Cooled pride, roused ardour’ investigates the artists queer identity through objects of personal worth. A pit-fired ceramic chandelier stands in for a body. A pair of high heeled boots sit nearby, their fabric taken from a family sofa, itself an old wedding present to his parents. On the floor, a pot repeatedly depicts the martyrdom of St Sebastian.
